Is everything vintage?
Yes! Everything we stock is authentic vintage clothing, with the exception of our our Fabulous Flappers line of 1920s style beaded dresses and accessories designed by the owner, Cicely Hansen. Because of this, we usually do not have more than one of each item and once it's gone, it's gone
Do you buy clothing?
Yes! We are very selective about the items that we purchase, and can only buy on the weekdays. Please call ahead of time to ensure that there will be a buyer in to look at your items. We are primarily interested in Victorian era clothing through the 1970s, and will look at men's, women's, and children's clothing, as well as costume jewelry and accoutrements. Please come in with a price in mind, as we do not make offers!
Do you rent costumes?
We are primarily a vintage clothing store, not a costume store. For this reason, we cannot rent out our vintage garments. The only items that are available for rental are a selection of our beaded dresses from our Fabulous Flappers line, designed by Cicely Hansen, owner. For other costume inquiries, please call or email about what we have that is available- we curate according to current events in San Fransisco.
Do you do bridal or styling appointments for events?
If you are looking to be styled head-to-toe for a special event, or if you are looking for bridal dresses, please make an appointment so that we can pull items for you. Some of our stock is not kept on the sales floor, so contacting us ahead of time ensures that we have the best items for you in terms of style, size, and budget. Please be aware that for a full consultation, we do charge a styling fee per hour.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of vintage clothing, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please be very certain about your purchase before making it, and we appreciate your understanding!
